Use: Accent plant for an interesting and sculptural look. Dracaena arborea provides a striking accent to many different styles of the landscape. The clean trunks can take on unusual curves and are often grouped in twos, three, or more.
Characteristics: Upright trunks that sometimes have a sweeping curve and sharp-looking leaves. These leaves have soft points and are not dangerous. Often seen in drought-tolerant gardens. Dragon Trees can grow in sun or shade.
Trimming: No formal trimming is needed. By hand, it is possible to remove the lower dying, leaves as they get older.
Fertilization: Fertilize in March, June, and October with a well-balanced Palm Fertilizer.
