Use: King Alexanders can reach 40' in height. They are most often used as single, double or triple trunk palms to give a tropical look in colder areas of Florida. They are not tolerant of high pH soils.
Trimming: King Alexanders are self-cleaning palms. When a frond has expired, it will turn brown and fall off on its own. Seeds need removal twice a year.
Fertilization: Fertilize in March, June, and October with a well balanced granular Palm fertilizer.
